Bitter Cold, More Snow This Week: MN Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect bitter temperatures and additional chances for snow this week across central Minnesota.

"Much below normal temperatures this week with a cold weather advisory tonight," the National Weather Service said. "Snow expected along the I-90 corridor later today with an inch or two possible. Another chance for snow on Wednesday in southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin."

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 5. Wind chill values as low as -20. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around -6. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 10. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
