MINNEAPOLIS — Several airlines at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport are scrapping flights Friday morning due to nationwide system outages. Nearly 80 flights had been canceled as of 6:30 a.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration said it was "closely monitoring a technical issue impacting IT systems at U.S. airlines."

"Please check with your airline for the latest flight status before leaving for the airport," MSP said.
