1. The state legislative session officially ended yesterday with a series of bills for Gov. Tim Walz to consider. They include legalizing recreational marijuana and creating a child tax credit. Walz already signed into law gun safety legislation and abortion rights protections. (KARE11)

2. A new book written by Attorney General Keith Ellison hits shelves today. In "Break the Wheel: Ending the Cycle of Police Violence,” he recounts prosecuting former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for manslaughter and second-degree murder in the killing of George Floyd in 2020. (AP)

3. A series of events will be held this weekend in Minneapolis to remember George Floyd on the anniversary of his death. George Floyd Global Memorial will host a candlelight vigil Thursday at George Floyd Square, with a fundraising gala set for Friday at Paisley Park.
