Hazardous Weather Advisory Issued For Twin Cities: MN Weather

Snow showers and strong winds Wednesday could reduce visibility across central/southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for central and southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin Wednesday.

Here is what to expect

  • Tuesday: Strong westerly winds are expected to gust up to 40 mph in western Minnesota this afternoon.
  • Wednesday: Scattered snow showers combined with breezy winds may reduce visibility, with minor snow accumulations of around 1 inch for most areas and up to 2 inches in far western Minnesota.

The Twin Cities metro area should see at least a dusting of snow. Though while it's unlikely the metro will see an inch of snow, parts northwest have a better shot.
