Here's The First Halloween Forecast For The Twin Cities: MN Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — It's officially the spookiest time of the year. Halloween is Thursday, Oct. 31, when ghosts and goblins of all sorts will appear in front of your door asking for treats.

According to Accuweather, Thursday will feature a high of 51 and a low of 39 degrees. It should be partly cloud and dry.

That is fairly normal, historically, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The average high is 50 degrees and the average low is 35 degrees in the Twin Cities for Halloween.

Meanwhile, here's what the National Weather Service forecasts for the week ahead:

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 58. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 43. South wind around 10 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 64. South wind 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. South wind around 15 mph.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight.
