Man Killed After Being Hit By Sedan, Bus In Minneapolis: Police

The man was crossing Franklin Avenue and Cedar Avenue on foot when he was hit and killed by the vehicles Saturday afternoon.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A man was killed after he was struck by two vehicles while crossing a street in Minneapolis Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was crossing Franklin Avenue and Cedar Avenue on foot when he was hit by a white sedan and a bus at about 3:10 p.m., according to a news release from the Minneapolis Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers remained on scene and were cooperating with the investigation, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
