Two babies are alive after police rescued them from a home where they were exposed to fentanyl, authorities said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police rescued two infants who were overdosing on fentanyl at the same residence.

Police were called to a home after a 2-month-old was found unresponsive. With no clear explanation for the infant's condition, the child was rushed to the hospital, where doctors determined a fentanyl overdose as the cause.
