Minnesota Reports 773 New COVID-19 Cases And 5 Deaths

More than 49,400 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,566 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

More than 49,400 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,566 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

The figures reported Friday include 773 new cases and five deaths.

Approximately 922,876 tests have been completed. As of 4 p.m. Thursday, 278 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 108 of them in intensive care units.

Of the 49,488 people who have tested positive, 42,882 no longer need to be isolated.
