Sun, Heat, And No Relief: Scorching Mother’s Day Ahead

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Twin Cities are in for a blast of summer heat this Mother’s Day weekend, with temperatures soaring into the upper 80s by Sunday.

After a warm and sunny Friday and Saturday, the heat peaks on Sunday, just in time for Mother’s Day, bringing near 90-degree highs and gusty southern winds.

Aside from a slim chance of showers Friday night, the forecast is dry, setting the stage for a hot, sun-drenched weekend.
