1. Two teen girls have been missing from Prior Lake since late May, KARE11 reports. Keira Dupey, 15, and Kari Steele, 13, were last seen May 25 and police believe they are in St. Paul “or the surrounding suburbs.” (KARE11)
2. Minnesota health officials “anticipate an uptick” in mpox cases this summer, KARE11 reports. Two cases were detected in Hennepin County last week, the first reported since November. (KARE11)
2. Minneapolis Public Schools is on the “brink of insolvency,” according to a Minnesota Reformer report. The district has stayed afloat thanks to more than $260 million in federal pandemic aid, but those funds will “leave a huge budget hole” when they run out next year, according to the Reformer. (Reformer)
4. The Minnesota Lynx retired the jersey number of Sylvia Fowles over the weekend. She spent eight years with the team and won two titles. The franchise honored its “25th greatest players in history” Sunday. (AP)
