Smokey Weekend Ahead, Thanks To Canada's 'Mega' Wildfires: MN Weather

Smoke from the ongoing Canadian "mega" wildfires will arrive at the same time as hot weather in Minnesota this weekend.

MINNEAPOLIS — Smoke from the ongoing Canadian "mega" wildfires will arrive at the same time as hot weather in Minnesota this weekend.

According to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, air quality will drop into the "yellow" level on Friday and Saturday. People who are especially sensitive to particle pollution should consider reducing activity levels or shortening the amount of time they are active outdoors.

During the smoky weather, temperatures are expected to hit the lower 90s in the Twin Cities metro area.
