Snow Returns, Up To 2 Inches Possible in Twin Cities: MN Weather
A messy spring storm is poised to bring a burst of wintry weather to the Twin Cities metro area this weekend.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A messy spring storm is poised to bring a burst of wintry weather to the Twin Cities metro area this weekend, with rain, snow, and even a few thunderstorms all in the mix.
While Friday will start pleasant and calm with highs near 80, a strong system moving in from the west will flip things, bringing in widespread rain on Saturday, followed by a transition to a wintry mix and accumulating snow Saturday night into Sunday.
Forecasters say the Twin Cities metro could see up to 2 inches of snow by the end of the storm, with slick roads and gusty winds likely to impact travel late in the weekend.
