US Bank Stadium Selected To Host 2025 Gold Cup Matches

International men's soccer is coming to Minneapolis.

MINNEAPOLIS — International men's soccer is coming to Minneapolis.

Concacaf, the soccer organization for North and Central America and the Caribbean that operates under FIFA, has chosen U.S. Bank Stadium as one of the venues for the 2025 Gold Cup.

The Gold Cup is the premier soccer tournament for national teams in North and Central America and the Caribbean. In addition to competing for regional pride, the tournament helps national teams qualify for the FIFA World Cup.

The competition occurs every two years and features the best teams from the region, including the U.S., Mexico, and Costa Rica.

A draw will be held on April to determine which specific matches will be played at the stadium.

2025 Gold Cup dates

The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will feature a 16-team group stage, otherwise known as a round-robin, with four groups of four teams each.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, otherwise known as single elimination, then quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final championship game.

  • Group Stage: June 14-24, 2025
  • Quarterfinals: June 28 and 29, 2025
  • Semifinals: July 2, 2025
  • Final: July 6, 2025
