Video: 2 Light Rail Trains Sandwich Car In Minneapolis, 7 Injured
A car driving through the intersection of Portland Avenue and 5th Street was hit by two different light rail trains Monday night.

MINNEAPOLIS — Seven people were injured Monday night when a car collided with two different light rail trains in downtown Minneapolis near U.S. Bank Stadium.
A bystander's video of the crash was posted and shared on Reddit.
Around 9 p.m., a car going west on Portland Avenue drove over the tracks at 5th Street and was hit by a train going southbound, the Star Tribune reported. The car was then pushed into a northbound train at the same intersection.

Two people had to be extracted from the car and were hospitalized. A witness told KSTP they were pulled through the car's windshield. Five light rail passengers suffered minor injuries.
Light rail service downtown was completely stopped until 10:40 p.m.
