MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Conservative commentator Michael Knowles will take the stage Monday night at the University of Minnesota as part of Turning Point USA’s “American Comeback Tour,” just days after the group’s founder, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on the Carlson Family Stage inside Northrop. It is free, open to those 18 and older, and requires advance registration with a valid government-issued ID.

Students with a U Card or student ID were given priority seating beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by general admission at 6 p.m. All attendees must pass through security screening, and Northrop’s bag policy is in effect.

Background

Turning Point USA, which Kirk founded to mobilize young conservatives, has named his widow, Erika Kirk, as its new CEO and board chair. She has vowed to continue her late husband’s mission. The group says it now has more than 3,500 student chapters across the country, with interest spiking since Kirk’s death.

National events, including TPUSA’s December “America Fest” conference, remain scheduled.
