TWIN CITIES, MN — Cooler temperatures may finally be on the way after a hot and muggy start to fall.

High temperatures will continue to hover in the 80s during the week but slowly creep downward into the weekend. Sunday's and Monday's high in the Twin Cities metro area is 71 degrees.
