The 9th Annual Rosemount Writers Festival and Book Fair

The 9th Annual Rosemount Writers Festival takes place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at The Steeple Center, located at 14375 South Robert Trail in Rosemount.

This year's keynote speakers will be PJ Tracy, the pseudonym of the mother-daughter writing duo P.J. and Traci Lambrecht, winners of the Anthony, Barry, Gumshoe, and Minnesota Book Awards. Their cyberthriller “Monkeewrench” series were national and international bestsellers. After her mother's passing in 2016, Traci wrote two more books in the Monkeewrench series and began the Margaret Nolan Detective series, set in Los Angeles, where she lived for many years. She now resides in Minnesota and continues to write about murder and mayhem.

After the Keynote wraps up, the annual book fair will get underway. This year’s event features 60 authors and publishing-related vendors. Sigma's Bookshelf, the teen publishing company founded in 2017 by now Macalester College graduate Justin Anderson, is launching its 22nd title at the event. 17-year-old Violet Hirman will be signing copies of "Lotus Protection: Rise of the Lotus."

Twelve writing-related workshops will be offered including Creating Vivid Characters, Using AI Ethically in Creative Fields, Bring Your Fantasy Word Alive, Write and Promote an SEO Blog for Your Website, and Breaking into Libraries and Bookstores.
