Rice SWCD will again be selling native plants that will be available in mid-May. A mix of 48 plants will be available for either raingardens or butterfly gardens. These plants are high quality and are a great way to establish a raingarden or butterfly garden in your yard.
Each mix includes a total of 48 plants. These mixes are set up to provide you the variety needed to complete your garden. The raingarden mix is specially designed to provide plants that are needed for use in raingardens. It includes plants that can tolerate flooding conditions but also provide beauty. The butterfly mix is specially designed to attract butterflies to your home garden.
