Anthony Ernest Weckman was born April 8, 1928, on the family farm in St. Joe, (rural Jordan) Minnesota, to Anthony and Cecilia (Beckius) Weckman. He was raised on the family farm and attended parochial school. After his education he served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Donna Morlock in 1954. They later divorced. Anthony worked concrete construction and over the years lived in the Jordan area, Montana, and McGregor, before returning to Southern Minnesota.
Survivors include his children: Wendy and husband John Laudon of Burnsville, Cindy and husband Mike Johnson of DeBary, Florida, Gary and fiance Lori Maddox of Mounds View, Jeff of New Prague; 9 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.
Anthony passed away with his family by his side on Saturday morning, October 6, 2012, at Three Links Care Center in Northfield at the age of 84.
