Merle Fremouw, age 88 of Northfield, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29,2012 at 12:00 noon at the Northfield United Methodist Church in Northfield. Burial will take place in the Northfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Merle is survived by his wife, Martha; three sons, Timothy Fremouw of St. Paul, Tom Fremouw of Bloomington and Jon (Lee Ann) Fremouw of Eden Prairie; three daughters, Susan (Wayne) Barry of St, Paul, Patricia (Anthony) Moore of St. Paul and Kathleen (Ron) Hauser of Apple Valley; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; three brothers, Burton (Theola) Fremouw of Wilton, CA, Eugene Fremouw of Albert Lea and Alvin (Jen) Fremouw of Menomonie, WI; one sister, Doris St. Martin of Faribault. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Robert and Lyle Fremouw; four sisters, Mildred Belke, Vera Elstad, Marion Stam and Ethel Schirmacher.

Funeral arrangements are by the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.
