Thomas Charles Gregory, 51

Thomas Charles Gregory was born March 21, 1961, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to James and Betty Gregory.  He graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1979 and in his early 20′s moved to the Rochester, Minnesota, area.  In 1987, he married Karla Duke, and together they had their daughter Lindsey.  They later divorced.  Tom worked in the Rochester area for several years until moving to Blooming Prairie.  On June 1, 2000, he married Dori Hershberger Sundin in Owatonna.  After marriage they made Owatonna their home and Tom worked for Pearson Inc.  In July 2004, they moved to Dennison.  For the last number of years Tom had helped Dori at her business, Dennison Meats, and was dedicated to making the business a success.  Tom was kind, compassionate and thoughtful, and enjoyed NASCAR and fishing when he could.

Survivors include his wife, Dori; his daughter, Lindsey of Kasson; his mother, Betty Lou of Hastings, Michigan; his sisters, Shirley and Sue; and his brothers, Gary, Michael, Charlie, Patrick and Chris.  He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Michelle Sundin and his father.

Thomas passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at his home in Dennison, at the age of 51.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, beginning at 4:00PM, at the home of his sister-in-law, Vonnette Mills, 3761 Kenyon Blvd., rural Faribault.
