City Of Northfield: Open House For Water System Study And Location Options For A New Drinking Water Treatment Plant

The City of Northfield is hosting two open houses to discuss the Water System Study, its recommendations and three options for a location for an additional drinking water treatment plant. Residents and businesses are invited to attend to learn more about the project and give input on a preferred location for the new plant from 5:30 to 7 p.m. either online on February 24 or in person on March 3 at City Hall, 801 Washington Street.

A short presentation regarding the project will occur at the beginning of the meeting. The remainder of the meeting will be an open-house setting where residents and property owners will be able to view illustrations and have questions answered by city staff. Attendees will be asked for their preference on the location for the new drinking water treatment plant.
