Coronavirus: Nearly 15 Percent Of Rice Co. Is Fully Vaccinated
Here's the latest breakdown of the COVID-19 vaccination rates in Rice County.
RICE COUNTY, MN — Nearly 15 percent of Rice County residents — more than 9,700 people — have completed their vaccine series for the coronavirus, meaning they are fully inoculated against the virus.
Another 26 percent of the county has received at least one dose of the virus, amounting to over 17,000 people.
Statewide, 15.3 percent of Minnesotans are fully vaccinated, and 25.7 percent of residents have received at least one dose.

Minnesota health officials reported zero coronavirus-related deaths Monday. It's the first day since April 13 that the state added no new deaths to its overall death toll, a sign of hope that life may return to relative normal by this summer.
According to the most recent available data, nearly 26 percent of Minnesotans — or 1,430,349 people — have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Just over 15 percent of the state's population — or 850,829 people — has been fully inoculated against the virus.
