County Attorney: Northfield Man Accused of Sex Crime May Have Had More Than One Victim
Authorities believe that Michael Lyle Stucky, Jr. may have victimized others who have yet to come forward.

A Northfield man has beenΒ accused of raping an underage girl he met on Facebook, and authorities say they have reason to believe that 18-year-oldΒ Michael Lyle Stucky, Jr. may have victimized others as well.
Stucky has been charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.Β
The case against Stucky dates toΒ Aug. 16, when Rosemount Police were calledΒ to Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville to speak with a 15-year-old girl,Β who reported that she had beenΒ sexually assaulted at her home around 4 a.m. The girlΒ said Stucky arrived at her house in Rosemount in the early morning hours,Β after a series ofΒ messages over Facebook. She said that StuckyΒ made sexual advances and became aggressive whenΒ she resisted. She told him to stop,Β but heΒ took off her clothing. HeΒ began having sex with her, even thoughΒ she tried toΒ push him away with her foot and continued to protest.
When questioned by police, StuckyΒ said that the encounterΒ was consensual. He claimedΒ that he had no idea how old the victim was. Β
During the course of the investigation, police uncovered information that suggests that the alleged sexual assault was not an isolated incident.Β Anyone who may have additional informationΒ should call Detective Julie Rauenhorst at 651-322-2001.Β
For the time being, Stucky remains in custody at the Dakota County Jail, held on a $75,000 bond (the bond will be reduced toΒ $30,000 if Stucky agrees to abide by the court'sΒ conditions). Β His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept.Β 10. Β
