20 Staff Members Suing After Getting Fired From Northfield Hospital Over Vaccine Mandate
Twenty staff members were fired Oct. 31 for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.
NORTHFIELD, MN — A group of 20 former medical professionals recently sued Northfield Hospital, saying they were fired without cause after refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a report from The Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The lawsuit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court and alleges that the hospital didn't try to accommodate the former workers' "religious beliefs and serious health conditions," according to the report.
The former staff were all fired around Oct. 31 for refusing to get vaccinated and made up around three percent of the hospital's total staff, the publication reported.
