Northfield Appoints 4 Fire Captains

NORTHFIELD, MN — The city of Northfield announced that it appointed four new fire captains.

Each new captain will also have an additional field of responsibility.

The new captains and their additional responsibilities are:

• Dean Erickson- Fleet/Equipment
• Phil Graue- Safety, PPE, and Rescue
• Justin Raabolle- Training
• Andrew Tussing- Deputy Fire Code Official

The four new captains were previously firefighters in the department, the city said.

They will each be assigned a team of firefighters, according to the city.

All seats of the NAFRS Command Staff are now filled, the city said.
