The Minnesota Department of Education recommends that all students, teachers, staff, and visitors in school buildings wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status.
However, the department is not mandating that schools require masks for this upcoming school year. That means it's up to each individual school district to decide on whether to implement a mask mandate or not.
