The restaurant said it will close for no more than two weeks to make improvements to the kitchen, replace the furnace and add a new cooler.

NORTHFIELD, MN —The Quarterback Club, a longstanding Northfield restaurant, announced over the weekend that it will be closing briefly for repairs later this month.
In a post on social media, owners of the restaurant, located at 116 West 3rd St., said they would be closing the establishment for "hopefully no more than two weeks" beginning on March 14.
The message said the restaurant, which was established in 1967, would be making improvements to the kitchen, replacing the furnace, putting in a new cooler, updating the electrical panel and putting in a new ceiling with energy-efficient lighting.

But, in the mid-1970s, all the Quarterback Club locations except for Northfield were sold off or closed.
The restaurant now offers a variety of menu items, including: a popular broasted chicken, bbq baby back pork ribs and a burger and French fries combo.
The company said it purchases the "best meat" its suppliers offer, and that many of its buns and bread are purchased from a local bakery.
Meals are served on real china and delivered right to the table.
