Tow Truck Operators Injured In Rice County Hit-And-Run
The two tow truck operators were trying to remove a vehicle from the center median when a black 2006 Lincoln MKZ hit them.
RICE COUNTY, MN — The car involved in a hit-and-run in Rice County has been located by Minnesota State Patrol, the agency tweeted Tuesday morning.
Two tow truck operators were injured around 2 a.m. Monday in a hit-and-run on northbound I-35 at mile post 74 in Webster Township, Minnesota State Patrol said.
The two tow truck operators were trying to remove a vehicle from the center median when a black 2006 Lincoln MKZ hit them, MSP said. The Lincoln is missing its driver's-side mirror and will have damage to its driver's side, according to officials.

One of the tow truck operators was brought to Allina Health Faribault Medical Center and the other was brought to Hennepin County Medical Center, authorities said. The two sustained non life-threatening injuries, according to MSP.
Rice County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene, officials said.
