Updated: City Council, School Board Candidates Finalized
Filing for city council and school board seats closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The filing period for open seats on the Oakdale city council and District 622 school board has closed.
The candidates have been set for the two governing bodies. Filing closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Oakdale City Council
- Stan Karwoski (incumbent)
- Paul Reinke (incumbent)
North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District
- Theresa Auge of Oakdale (incumbent)
- Steve Hunt of North St. Paul (incumbent)
- Nancy Livingston of North St. Paul (incumbent)
- Rich Bennett of Maplewood
- Becky Neve of Malplewood
Candidates will be on the ballot for the Nov. 6 general election.
Oakdale city council members will serve four-year terms and receive a monthly salary of $585. City council candidates can withdraw by 5 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 16) by filing an Affidavidit of Withdrawal.
