• County Board approves five year Capital Improvement Plan (cottagegrovejournal.news) — Washington County has approved its 2026 budget, tax levy, and a five-year Capital Improvement Plan that will shape property taxes, roads, parks, and services for Oakdale residents and neighbors. Oakdale is among the cities that weighed in on the county’s long-range project list, which includes major road work, park upgrades, homelessness prevention funding, and continued low-interest loans for septic and well improvements.
