The contract allows for a 1 percent increase on each members' salary schedule for the 2011-2012 school year and a 1.15 percent increase for the 2012-2013 school year. The total package increase, which includes all associated costs, is 4.47 percent.

The non-unit hourly group of employees who are not represented by a union came to an agreement on their contract. Many of the employees with lower pay rates in the group received an increase, which mirrors the increases the other groups received. Most of the employees with larger pay ranges did not receive a pay rate increase, said Keith Gray, director of human resources.
This group did not receive retroactive pay for the 2011-2012 year as the other groups did since many of the employees go in and out of the system, Gray said.
