Best Buy Launches Recycling Program For Major Appliances

RICHFIELD, MN — Tech giant Best Buy is launching a recycling program for major appliances this month. The standalone, haul-away service costs $200 and is limited to two large appliances.

The Richfield-based company said that "once picked up, all products are then responsibly and safely recycled."

"Just a click away, anyone in the U.S. can now request pickup and recycling for old electronics, keeping tech, including appliances, out of landfills and giving it a second life."

Best Buy already recycles some smaller tech items for free. Customers can schedule the haul-away service online here.
