East Wing Demolition: BAD FENG SHUI
Lillian Too, if you could have feng shui'ed Trump BEFORE he tore down The East Wing, America would be sleeping a lot better now.
Feng Shui — the ancient Chinese art of placement — was widely unknown in America until the 1990’s, around the time of the big real estate “boom” that took place in New York City.
Rumor had it when Donald J. Trump’s fortunes suddenly and wildly increased, he was using something called feng shui(pronounced fung schway). That was back in the day when most people had never heard of it or even understood how it worked. Trump allegedly took credit for using it, then denied he used it. So he was lying, but no one could figure out which response was a lie or which one was truth. Or maybe they were both lies? (Even before he got elected to public office, he was working his deliberate miscommunication M.O. like a Jedi Master.)
When the feng shui consultant who purportedly advised him was contacted by the media, however, she refused all interviews. Then she was nowhere to be found, as though she’d vanished from the face of the earth. No one knew what had happened to her.

Rumor had it that a greedy Trump had put some kind of gag order on her so she wouldn’t reveal any secrets of prosperity to anyone else. Or maybe he just fired her?
Who knows?

Whether he used feng shui 30 years ago remains a mystery. Anyway, it’s pretty clear now that The Donald hasn’t been working with a feng shui consultant in 2025. How do I know this? Because if he had, he NEVER would have torn down the East Wing of The White House.
No, I’m not a feng shui consultant or geomancer, nor have I ever pretended to be an expert in this field. As a longtime student — and investigator — of feng shui, however, I understand enough about it to know that disaster lies right around the corner for Trump. Demolishing that area of The White House in the Lunar Year of the Snake, 2025, is going to be dangerously inauspicious for him. I mean it’s going to be BAD. So bad that it could easily spell the demise of him, his wealth, even this Presidency that he’s been turning into his personal monarchy.
To make matters worse, he doesn’t understand his own connection to this temporary residence. He has failed to realize that he’s currently living in The People’s House — a symbolic reminder of our democracy, a place of reverence and history.
It’s not just another building — or part of a building. It’s not just another piece of real estate he personally owns and can tear down. IT DOESN’T BELONG TO HIM. But in tearing down the East Wing, he is not only sowing seeds of his own personal destruction, he is also eroding America’s credibility and reliability.
In other words, what began with the destruction of the Rose Garden is slowly infiltrating the entire White House, along with our democracy itself.
As an avid student of feng shui, I’m fascinated(and repulsed) by The Donald’s blatant misuse of this energy and space. Of course, you can dismiss my interest as mere superstition, but I’ve found too many examples of meaningful coincidences — or synchronicity — to ignore what he’s been doing.
What made it so easy for me to achieve understanding and maintain interest, though, came in large part from my study of Lillian Too’s books on the subject. I would urge anyone interested in learning — or even refuting — feng shui to consult her work. She explains how feng shui involves more than decluttering and cleaning spaces. She shows that there are mathematical components involved in determining the best(and worst) directions for each individual who wants to enhance any aspect for living a happy, prosperous life.
No wonder Ms. Too is a world-renowned expert and lecturer! She knows there is a deliberate method for finding the best directions and placements, and she’s genuinely happy to impart this knowledge of feng shui to all interested parties.
That’s why I’m using quotations from her books here: for educational purposes to aid your understanding of feng shui, dear readers…AND to emphasize exactly why I’m so concerned about Trump’s demolitions.
Look at the positioning of his planned ballroom and the directions it will occupy. It not only encompasses the EAST direction, it also includes the ends of this oversized rectangular building — which looks like the top and bottom of this addition — that are in the NorthEAST and SouthEAST.
In Lillian Too’s 168 Feng Shui Ways to a Calm & Happy Life, she explains how the different star numbers that change every year can affect — and afflict — everyone. She specifically warns against ill-timed renovations:
“Watch that your renovations do not activate affliction stars… Even if I ever have to renovate a major portion of my home, I make sure that I never start or end the work in any of the locations occupied by these three afflictions.”
Wait. Which afflictions?
#1. The Grand Duke Jupiter, or Tai Sui.
“Never undertake any type of digging, banging, or cutting in the location occupied by the Tai Sui. To ignore this rule is to invite problems and worry into your household.”
In the Year of The Snake 2025, this bad direction is SouthEAST. Uh-oh.
#2. The 3 Killings, or sam sart
“The theory is that whoever is residing in the part of the house that the 3 killings flies to will endure three types of misfortunes, mainly related to loss — loss of your good name, loss of love and/or friendship, and loss of money.”
In the Year of The Snake 2025, this bad direction is EAST! Does that really sound like a welcoming site for a ballroom?
#3. The 5 Yellows
Ms. Too describes it as “the ultimate disaster star number and everyone succumbs to its influence.” It really does sound worse than the other affliction star numbers, and she explains why:
“This is because the 5 is a very powerful earth star, which brings a whole range of woes, from financial loss to unexpected obstacles, and from the sudden onset of severe danger to great aggravation, worry, and misfortune.”
In the Year of The Snake 2025, this afflicted direction in NorthEAST. Most inauspicious.
Not only is Trump’s renovation of The White House ill-advised, it also portends disaster on various levels for him and his short-sighted operations.
Since Trump remains a businessman who continues to operate the government like his own private corporation, however, here is a final word of warning from Lillian Too’s Easy-To-Use Feng Shui—168 ways to Success:
Respect the good feng shui of the old building which brought so much wealth. Renovate it with modern facades but do not pull it down. By damaging your corporate headquarters foundations(which, in Trump’s eyes, includes the East Wing) you will damage your entire business as well.”
