Five Local Campaigns that Could Use Your Support
Twin Cities Patch is teaming up with GoFundMe and our users to give a handful of projects each week a much-needed boost.

Throughout our three years in the Twin Cities, Patch has attempted to draw our users’ support to special causes in each of our communities around the metro. Now, we’re teaming up with GoFundMe.com to find some very unique fundraising opportunities that will help small businesses, non-profits, communities, families and kids get on their feet and get going.
Above you'll find five local campaigns that could use your support, including one for Richfield Dual Language School:
"The money raised through this book campaign will be used to purchase classroom libraries for each classroom. The libraries will include a wide variety of titles in both Spanish and English. Every dollar raised counts!
"El dinero recaudado a través de esta campaña será usado para comprar bibliotecas para cada salón. La biblioteca incluirá una variedad de títulos en inglés y en español. Cada dólar recaudado cuenta!"

A Burnsville High School student has also set up a campaign in the memory of Anarae Schunk. Schunk, a University of Minnesota student who worked at Don Pablo's in Richfield, was found dead at the end of September after she was last seen on video surveillance with an ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend was later charged with murder in another incident.
Stay tuned for information on more local campaigns in the coming days.
