• Should MnDOT build noise walls on I-494? (startribune.com) — Richfield residents near I-494 and I-35W are being asked to return MnDOT ballots by Dec. 31 to decide whether new or rebuilt highway noise walls should be constructed in their area. Only eligible property owners who’d see at least a 5-decibel noise reduction can vote, and the outcome will determine if walls are added during the 2027–2030 construction phase.
