RICHFIELD, MN — Officials from Richfield Public Schools canceled classes Friday after they said they received a screenshot of a threat to Richfield High School, according to a news release from the Richfield Police Department.
The threat, which police said is under investigation, included a photo of a student in Richfield High School clothing and holding a gun with the caption "We're on our way."
The teen in the photo, a 17-year-old Richfield High School student, and a parent voluntarily came to the police station to meet with investigators, police said.
