Stretch Of Richfield's Lyndale Avenue Will Be Closed This Week

The northbound side of Lyndale between 65th Street and 64th Street will be closed between Monday and Thursday due to utility work.

RICHFIELD, MN —The City of Richfield has announced that northbound Lyndale Avenue —between 65th Street and 64th Street — will be completely closed to traffic between Monday and Thursday of this week.

The closure is due to utility work that is part of the redevelopment project at 65th Street and Lyndale Avenue, according to the city.

The city said an official detour will route traffic east on 65th Street, north on Nicollet Avenue, west on 61st Street, and then back to Lyndale Avenue.

Lyndale Avenue's southbound lanes will remain open during the construction, though some delays are expected, the city said.
