Around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday officers arrived on 12th Street Southeast where 39-year-old Gregory Alvino Garrido Jr. was arguing with a woman on the sidewalk, neighbors alerted officers that Garrido Jr. had thrown something into the neighbor's yard. An officer quickly identified it as methamphetamine and after it was tested this was confirmed, and Garrido Jr. was charged with first-degree drug sales as well as assault.
