  1. On Monday part of Winnebago Way and 1st Street NW will be closed for construction according to the Mason City Engineer Department. It is estimated the road will be closed off to traffic until the end of July. There will still be access to Parkridge Drive, Lakeview Drive, Willowgreen Court, and Winnebago Court for those who utilize these routes. (KIMT 3)
  2. The trial of 24-year-old Nautica Cox has been postponed a second time, for his alleged role in the murder of a Rochester man downtown two years ago. According to court records jury selection for his trial will begin on Jan. 8. A second man who was charged in the case, Derek Days is currently serving a 35-year sentence for second-degree murder. Cox is being held in the Olmsted County Detention Center on a $2 million bail. (KROC-AM)
  3. The City of Rochester Emergency Management and Olmsted County Emergency Management are seeking public feedback on their joint Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) to address natural hazards in the area. They want input from residents, community leaders, and organizations regarding the most significant risks to Rochester and suggestions for reducing damages from future hazard events.
