At Roseville Course, This Golfer Beats the 12,000 to 1 Odds
Langeberg finds magic with a pair of eights for the eighth hole.

At Roseville's Cedarholm Golf Course, Anderew Langeberg did what few people ever do in their lifetimes: He made a hole in one.
Langeberg, of Blaine, accomplished his feat on July 7, scoring his ace on the eighth hole with and eight iron.
Last month, two junior golfers also scored hole in ones at Cedarholm.

A post on golflink.com suggests that the odds of the average golfer ever hitting a hole in one are 12,000 to 1. Or put another way, according to one golf study, if you had a low handicap and "played 1,000 rounds of golf then you had a five to one chance of making a hole in one."
