The annual Roseville Rosefest summer festival is off to  a soggy start, with Friday night's storms taking a toll on one of its signature events.Â
The Run for the Roses, 5K run and 10K roll, that were scheduled for this morning (Saturday) have been cancelled.Â
"This morning's run is being cancelled due to unsafe conditions on the course," City Council member Lisa Laliberte told Patch.Â

"ALERT- Due to the Friday night storm and unsafe course conditions the Run-Roll is cancelled. Participants can pick up their t-shirt Sat. morning until 10a.m. at the Skating Center or next week."
