Dramatic Civil War Musical Slated for Evening Performance Tonight

Excerpts and music from the Civil War stage production will be held at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre.

"First Minnesota: Civil War Musical"  will be presented at a free outdoor concert at 6:30 p.m. today (Sunday) in the Frank Rog Amphitheatre at Central Park-Lexington East.
"First Minnesota is a true story drama presented in a musical theatre format,'' according to officials with the group's Facebook page. "It is the story of the famous charge of the First Minnesota regiment, who sacrificed most of their troops to help turn the tide at the battle of Gettysburg."
The free concert is among nearly 30 free outdoor concerts and shows this summer by Roseville Parks and Recreation. Other shows this week are:

Tuesday,  7: 30 p.m. Minnesota State Band 
and 
Thursday, 7:30 p.m.  Jeff Brooks & Company.
