Rosefest Round-Up: Parade Action, Tuesday's Schedule

After contending with severe storms this past weekend that forced cancellation of the 5K and 10k races, Roseville's Rosefest  festival got a break Monday night for its annual parade. 
The summer parade stretched out over a one-mile course under partly cloudy skies and a gentle breeze.  Ninety units participated in the procession including 12 high school marching bands. 
Parade grand marshal was Ken Hansen, who was a parade fundraiser for 13 years. Youth grand marshals were members of the Roseville Area High School girls gymnastics team, which won the Class AA state championship meet.

Rosefest continues through Saturday (June 29), then concludes with one final day of fun on July 4.
