Roseville Council Gives Go Ahead for Seeking Recycling Service RFPs

The Roseville Council on Monday night approved the city staff  seeking bids -or Request for Proposals (RFPs)-from vendors on a new municipal recycling services contract.

One stipulation in the RFP document is the city is seeking bids for single-sort service, Acting City Manager Pat Trudgeon said in a staff report.

Roseville's current contract with Eureka Recycling expires at the end of 2013, Trudgeon said.

All vendor bids are due by July 31 with the Council scheduled to vote on new contract by the end of August.

Meanwhile, city Recycling Coordinator Tim Pratt told Patch recently that community values will be used as a guide in evaluating vendors' bids for the city's next recycling contract.
