Roseville Nears Seeking RFPs for New Recycling Services Contract
Bidding sought on single-sort recycling.

The Roseville Council is near to seeking bids from vendors on a new city recycling services contract.Â
The Council on Monday night (July 1) is expected to approve giving the city administration authority to seek Requests for Proposals for a new recycling services contract. One stipulation in the RFP document is the city is seeking bids for single-sort service, Acting City Manager Pat Trudgeon said in a staff report. Â
Roseville's current contract with Eureka Recycling expires at the end of 2013, Trudgeon said.Â

Assuming the Council authorizes city staff to seek RFPs, all bids would be due by July 31 with the Council scheduled to vote on new contract by the end of August.Â
Meanwhile, city Recycling Coordinator Tim Pratt told Patch said recently that community values will be used as a guide in evaluating vendors' bids for the city's next recycling contract.Â
