What's Closed, What's Open on Fourth of July

Government offices and banks and credit unions are closed, but supermarkets and many stores are open.

As America celebrates the Fourth of July, the summer holiday brings with it  a mixture of businesses that are closed and open for the day. 

Here's a list of some major institutions and businesses in Roseville and their holiday plans:

Closed

  • Roseville City Hall. Closed July 4. However, the Guidant John Rose OVAL will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. while the Cedarholm municipal golf course will be open regular hours, from sunrise to sundown.  
  • The Ramsey County Public Library in Roseville. Closed.  
  • U.S. Post Office in Roseville. No delivery. Regular mail delivery resumes on Friday. 
  • Most banks and credit unions will be closed. 
  • Pour Decisions Brewing Co. The micro-brewery will be closed for the day, then opening its usual Friday evening hours. 

Open 

  • Supermarkets.  Byerly's, at Snelling Avenue and County Road C, is open regular hours, from 6 a.m. to midnight.  The HarMar Mall Cub Foods is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Most restaurants. 
  • Rosedale Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Restaurants, AMC theatres and department store hours vary. 
  • Coffee shops.  J. Arthur's Coffee, 2441 Rice St., is open from 6:30 a.m. to  4 p.m.
