Community Corrections Seeks Members For Racial Equity Action Team In Ramsey County

The action team anticipates convening starting in December of 2021, but will continue recruiting for members through January 2022.

Ramsey County Community Corrections is seeking community members committed to advancing racial equity to join a new Racial Equity and Community Engagement Action Team. The purpose of the action team is to bring community members with a multitude of experiences and backgrounds to the table to engage in shared power and decision-making with Community Corrections. This team will guide development of a racial equity action plan for Community Corrections.

Ramsey County residents from the following backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply:

Members will meet monthly and will be compensated with a $50 Visa gift card for each meeting. Individuals who would like to join the action team can express interest online, or by contacting Racial and Health Equity Planner Latasha Jennings via email or phone (651) 266-2634.
