The Minnesota State Fair is set for Aug. 26 through Sept. 6 and Minnesota Valley Transit Authority will be offering direct bus service to and from two sites in Shakopee. Southbridge Crossings Park & Ride, 1401 Crossings Blvd., is a brand-new Shakopee State Fair site that will offer service every day of the fair. Weekend and Labor Day service will be available from Marschall Road Transit Station.

Round-trip fare will be $5 online/via app or $6 cash when boarding (exact amount, drivers don’t make change). Online payment are available via the Ride MVTA app (Search “Ride MVTA” on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to download the free app). Children 4 and under ride free.

Weekdays: Every 30 minutes from 10 a.m.-noon and hourly until 9 p.m.

Weekends and Labor Day: Every 30 minutes from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and hourly until 9 p.m. (6 p.m. Labor Day)

Return service from the fair is from noon to midnight (9 p.m. Labor Day) with more frequent service between 4-6 p.m.

Weekdays: NO SERVICE

Weekends and Labor Day: Every 30 minutes from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and hourly until 9 p.m. (6 p.m. Labor Day)

Taking the bus to the Minnesota State Fair is a fast, friendly and convenient way to attend Minnesota’s signature end-of-summer event.

Please Note: Go-To Cards, SuperSaver Cards, College Passes and MetroPasses are not accepted for the State Fair Express service. Bikes are permitted to be transported on the front of the bus. Only collapsible wagons are allowed on buses for transport.
