2 Teens Killed After Speeding Car Goes Airborne In St. Paul: Patrol
The speeding Nissan ultimately landed about 50 feet off the roadway, authorities said.

ST. PAUL, MN — Two 17-year-olds were killed after a speeding car flew off of a Highway in St. Paul on Friday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The passengers were identified as Cadence Lee Allen and Aiden Patrick Nelson, both of Prescott, Wisconsin. Neither were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, investigators said.
A third passenger, 17, and the driver, 16, were both wearing their seat belts, according to the State Patrol. They survived and are being treated at Regions Hospital.

Alcohol was detected on the third passenger, but it's not yet known if alcohol played a role in the crash, according to investigators.
Just after 11 a.m., a Nissan Maxima was traveling at "a high rate of speed" on Northbound Highway 61 north of Lower Afton Road, authorities said.

The Nissan veered off the roadway to the right, rolled, went airborne and crashed into several trees, according to investigators.

Conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to the State Patrol.
